PHILADELPHIA, PA — Center City District announced its spring and summer programming lineup for Dilworth Park, including the return of seasonal attractions, free public events and the opening of a new outdoor dining space.

The park’s fountains have reopened for the season, featuring water spouts and an interactive public art installation known as Pulse, which emits colored steam designed to reflect SEPTA transit routes.

Center City District said a new outdoor bar and restaurant, The Patio, opened Friday, March 27, as an extension of the Dilworth Park Cafe, offering food and beverage service near City Hall.

The park will also feature the NRG Pitch at the Albert M. Greenfield Lawn beginning Friday, April 3, providing space for recreational activities tied to upcoming international soccer events in Philadelphia.

Free programming will run from April through August, beginning with Center City Fit, which offers weekly Zumba classes led by City Fitness instructors on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. from April 21 through October 6.

Additional events include the Made in Philadelphia Market, scheduled for April 10 through April 12, featuring more than 50 local vendors selling handmade goods.
