Cencora Welcomes Lori J. Ryerkerk to Board of Directors

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Cencora, Inc. (NYSE: COR) has elected Lori J. Ryerkerk as an independent director to its Board of Directors, effective June 1, 2025. The addition of Ryerkerk brings extensive expertise in global supply chain management and leadership to the company’s governing body.

“Ms. Ryerkerk’s experience in complex, global supply chains will further strengthen the Board’s expertise as we continue supporting the company’s long-term growth,” said Mark Durcan, Lead Independent Director. “Her appointment reflects the Cencora Board’s ongoing commitment to leaders who can help us contribute to driving stakeholder value.”

Ryerkerk is the former Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Celanese, a role she assumed in 2019 before becoming Chairman in 2020. During her tenure, she guided a global specialties chemical company with significant operational and logistical reach. Prior to that, she held senior leadership positions, including Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing at Shell Downstream Inc., amassing over 25 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

“Lori’s experience as a public company CEO, leading a global specialties chemical company with extensive operations and logistics, will bring valuable insight as we execute against our strategy and build on our leadership as an end-to-end healthcare services provider,” said Robert P. Currently, Ryerkerk also serves on the Boards of Eaton Corp. and Norfolk Southern, further underscoring her expertise in managing large-scale, impactful organizations. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.

Ryerkerk’s appointment signals Cencora’s dedication to bolstering its Board with proven leaders who can help guide its strategy and enhance the company’s position as a leader in healthcare services.
