WARMINSTER, PA — Signature Systems, Inc. (SSI) formed a new partnership with Yellow Dog Software to integrate the company’s inventory management platform with SSI’s PDQ POS system, a move aimed at giving casino and retail operators tighter cost control and real-time operational visibility.
The integration was developed to meet the inventory requirements of Osage Casinos and went live in September. The first deployment focused on supporting convenience store reporting and ordering across the casino operator’s properties.
“For our retail stores to operate as efficiently as possible, we needed our inventory system to interface seamlessly with our POS,” said Joe Roybal, chief information officer at Osage Casinos. “SSI once again delivered a solution that exceeded expectations while helping us maintain the best possible guest experience.”
Yellow Dog Software CEO Jay Livingood said the partnership strengthens tools available to casino operators. “Together, we’re making it easier for operators to gain real-time visibility, streamline processes, and drive efficiency across all areas of their operations,” he said.
The companies said the combined system offers unified control of both retail and food-and-beverage inventory. Retail SKUs created in Yellow Dog automatically sync to PDQ POS, with sales data flowing back to update inventory levels. For food and beverage operations, menu items and modifiers are organized into cost-of-goods categories for reporting, and operators can link recipes to track ingredient-level depletion and compare actual use to theoretical expectations.
“Our newest partnership with Yellow Dog Software gives our customers access to another premium, fully integrated solution within PDQ POS,” said John White, SSI’s executive vice president and chief technology officer. “In just the past five years, we’ve added more than 40 casinos to our customer base, showing the industry’s strong demand for flexible, high-quality technology.”
SSI said the integration expands the PDQ POS ecosystem and is designed to support casinos and hospitality operators seeking more comprehensive, data-driven inventory management.
