PHILADELPHIA, PA — CampusESP has launched a new student orientation platform designed to help colleges and universities manage onboarding and guide students through the transition to campus, the company announced.
The product, CampusESP for Student Orientation, expands the company’s offerings beyond family engagement into direct student engagement.
CampusESP, which partners with more than 450 institutions, said the new module was developed in response to demand from colleges seeking a more integrated experience for students and families during orientation.
The platform includes tools for scheduling orientation sessions, tracking required tasks, sending automated reminders, and delivering content through email, text, and web or mobile portals. It also allows institutions to monitor completion of onboarding requirements.
“Over the past ten years, we’ve seen firsthand how powerful engaged families can be in supporting student success,” said Dave Becker, CEO and co-founder of CampusESP. “Our partners consistently told us they wanted a more connected experience for both students and families during the transition to college.”
The company said many institutions continue to rely on multiple systems and manual processes to manage orientation, creating gaps in communication and coordination.
Nelson Barahona, director of orientation programs at Florida International University, said the platform helps streamline communication and keep students on track with required steps.
“With CampusESP, we’re able to streamline communication, keep students on track with their required steps, and ensure families have the information they need to support their students during this transition,” Barahona said.
The new platform is available to institutions nationwide.
