PHILADELPHIA, PA — Brownstein Group, one of Philadelphia’s longest-running independent marketing firms, has unveiled a bold new identity for its advertising division: Born and Raised. The rebrand marks a major step in the company’s “house of brands” strategy, aligning its portfolio under a unified structure while emphasizing specialized expertise and collaboration.
The new name builds on the firm’s six-decade heritage while signaling a modern, collective approach to creativity. Born and Raised joins sister agencies Red Thread PR, Poster Child, and Nucleus Digital—each focusing on public relations, influencer relations, and performance marketing, respectively. Together, these agencies form a network designed to offer clients integrated strategies that blend creativity, analytics, and storytelling.
“My father Berny founded Brownstein Group 61 years ago when creative agencies were disrupting a conservative business environment,” said Marc Brownstein, CEO of Brownstein Group. “Reintroducing our advertising agency as Born and Raised signals more than a name change. It reflects how we see ourselves in a rapidly shifting marketplace. Our strength lies in the collective; it takes a village to raise a great idea.”
Led by Chief Creative Officer Gary Greenberg, Born and Raised will continue providing full-service advertising capabilities spanning brand strategy, creative development, and production. The agency’s philosophy, Greenberg said, centers on transforming authentic stories into culturally resonant, business-driving ideas. “In a fast-moving, competitive industry, we don’t stay stagnant; we evolve to meet new challenges and rising expectations,” he said.
The rebrand comes amid Brownstein Group’s investment in creative acceleration and employee growth initiatives, including expanded AI-driven tools, enhanced social content production resources, and upgraded hybrid workspaces.
By redefining its advertising arm under the Born and Raised banner, Brownstein Group is reinforcing its independent roots and signaling a renewed commitment to building brands that balance legacy with innovation.
