BLUE BELL, PA — BrightView Landscapes (NYSE: BV) announced it has expanded its partnership with The Villages in Florida, increasing its management of the community’s golf courses from about 20% to more than 50% of its 400 golf holes.
The company said it now oversees more than 20 nine-hole golf courses within The Villages, a large residential and recreation community.
Terry McGuire, vice president of golf at BrightView, said the expansion reflects the company’s growing role at the property.
“Doubling our presence at The Villages marks an important milestone for BrightView,” McGuire said.
BrightView said it will continue providing turf and horticultural management, grooming, agronomy and irrigation services across the courses it manages.
The company also announced it has added Reagan Hejl, an agronomist with a doctorate from Texas A&M University, to its golf leadership team.
BrightView maintains more than 80 golf courses nationwide and said it will work with The Villages’ golf operations leadership to maintain standards across the expanded portfolio.
