AMBLER, PA — Bradford White Water Heaters has introduced the AeroTherm® Series G2, a new line of residential hybrid electric heat pump water heaters that mark the company’s most energy-efficient model to date.
The AeroTherm G2 combines traditional electric heating with advanced heat pump technology, offering homeowners a highly adaptable solution to manage energy use and utility costs. According to the company, the unit can help users save between $300 and $600 annually, depending on the model.

Designed with versatility in mind, the G2 allows users to switch among five operational modes: heat pump only, electric only, hybrid standard, hybrid plus, and vacation. This functionality enables homeowners to tailor the unit’s performance to their specific needs and seasonal demands.
One of the key innovations in the new system is the ICON System® LED digital display. Featuring multilingual support in English, Spanish, and French Canadian, the interface simplifies setup, customization, and troubleshooting for both homeowners and professional installers. The system also includes built-in Bradford White Wave™ connectivity, allowing users to control settings remotely via smartphone app, schedule heating cycles, and participate in utility demand response programs.
In terms of installation, the AeroTherm G2 was built with space efficiency in mind. The compact design enables placement in tight spaces, including against walls or in corners, with zero clearance required. Bradford White also highlighted the unit’s quiet operation as another improvement for residential use.
