Bradford White Expands Holiday Giving With Cancer, Hunger, And Workforce Push

AMBLER, PABradford White Corporation deepened its regional footprint this holiday season by combining charitable giving, employee volunteerism, and long-term workforce development into a coordinated community impact effort.

In Middleville, Michigan, the manufacturer hosted its first-ever 5K Against Breast Cancer, drawing employees and community members to support awareness and research. The inaugural event raised more than $2,500 and established a new annual tradition tied to a cause with personal resonance for many participating families.

Food insecurity also remained a focal point. Bradford White donated $15,000 to Philabundance, the Philadelphia region’s largest hunger-relief organization, marking the company’s largest contribution to date. The funds supported the Camp Out for Hunger food drive and were supplemented by boxes of food for local distribution. Employees further contributed time at Philabundance’s headquarters, sorting food boxes destined for area seniors.

The company continued its longstanding involvement with the Ron Jaworski Turkey Drive, serving again as a sponsor. Bradford White employees joined volunteers to distribute turkeys directly to Philadelphia-area families, extending a partnership that has become a recurring element of the company’s holiday outreach.

Bradford White also collected toys for Libertae, a Bucks County–based rehabilitation facility that supports women recovering from addiction. The donations were distributed to the children of women enrolled in the program, aligning the effort with family-focused recovery support.

“The products we manufacture at Bradford White improve safety, comfort and quality of life; and yet, there’s always more we can do to support individuals and families in our area,” said Neal Heyman, senior director of marketing at Bradford White. He said the company values partnerships with organizations committed to strengthening communities and views the holiday season as an opportunity to deepen those relationships.

Beyond seasonal initiatives, Bradford White continues to emphasize workforce development through its Industry Forward® program, which supports nonprofits and technical institutions promoting skilled trades careers. During Discover Manufacturing Month, the company hosted local students at its West Michigan manufacturing facility, providing firsthand exposure to modern manufacturing operations and the role skilled trades play in sustaining local economies.
