NEWARK, DE — Big Bronze announced it will deliver the fourth and final statue in a series of custom bronze sculptures commissioned for Veterans Memorial Park in La Verne, California, marking the completion of a multi-year project honoring U.S. military service members and their sacrifices.
The final piece — a tribute to a military K9 — will arrive in October and be dedicated on Veterans Day, November 11, 2025. The statue joins three bronze sculptures of saluting soldiers previously delivered and dedicated on Memorial Day earlier this year.
At the center of the collection stands a life-size statue of Sgt. Bryan Anderson, a U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient, representing resilience and heroism. The addition of the K9 sculpture broadens the memorial’s scope, highlighting the loyalty and courage of the military’s four-legged service members.
“We are honored to partner with VFW Post 12034 and the city of La Verne to bring these meaningful tributes to life,” said Stephen Ray, President of Big Bronze. “The military K9 statue represents the unwavering loyalty and courage of these remarkable animals, completing a memorial that celebrates the full spectrum of service.”
Each statue, handcrafted by Big Bronze’s sculptors, is designed to reflect authenticity and emotional depth. Together, the four monuments create a powerful visual narrative honoring soldiers, veterans, and their canine companions — ensuring their legacy endures for generations to come.
