BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Drivers in Bristol and Middletown townships should prepare for delays as PennDOT begins milling, paving, and utility work on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road (Bath Road) next week.
At a Glance:
- Roads Affected: Bristol-Oxford Valley Road (Bath Road)
- Dates: Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3
- Times: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Reason: Milling, paving, and utility construction
PennDOT said lane closures with flagging will be in place between U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) during both daytime and overnight work hours. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane at times, with flaggers directing vehicles through the work zone.
No detour is planned, but drivers should expect backups and intermittent delays throughout the corridor. Plan extra time and consider alternate routes, especially during peak travel periods.
All work is weather dependent.
