Base Repair Project to Close Section of 2nd Avenue in Royersford

ROYERSFORD, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that weekday closures will be in place on 2nd Avenue in Royersford Borough and Upper Providence Township for base repair work starting Tuesday, July 29.

The closure will affect the stretch of 2nd Avenue between Main Street and Route 113 (Black Rock Road) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each weekday through Friday, August 5. During this period, traffic will be detoured via Main Street, Lewis Road, Yeager Road, and Route 113.

PennDOT noted that local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists should anticipate delays and allow extra travel time when moving through the affected area. All work is weather dependent.
