PHILADELPHIA, PA — A steady stream of customers and a festive ribbon cutting marked the grand opening of Bagels & Co.’s newest South Philadelphia location, as the growing local brand welcomed guests with giveaways, fresh bagels, and a lively neighborhood atmosphere.

The St. Patrick’s Day opening at 2201 Washington Avenue drew early crowds, with the first 100 guests receiving a free bagel with schmear and a can of La Colombe coffee. The celebration set the tone for a high-energy launch, as visitors explored the new 1,093-square-foot shop featuring both indoor and outdoor seating.

Throughout the day, customers sampled Bagels & Co.’s lineup of Brooklyn-style bagels, baked fresh daily in more than a dozen varieties, along with an extensive menu of flavored schmears, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee drinks. The shop’s quick-serve format and family-friendly environment contributed to a welcoming and upbeat vibe as neighbors and visitors gathered to celebrate the opening.
