PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — AVE, an apartment brand operated by Korman Communities, was ranked the No. 1 apartment operator nationwide for the fourth consecutive year based on resident satisfaction in the 2026 Grace Hill Excellence Awards, the company announced.
AVE earned the top position in the Elite 5 ranking, which recognizes multifamily operators whose resident satisfaction scores exceed industry benchmarks measured by the Kingsley Index.
Ten AVE communities were also named to the 95% Club, a designation for properties scoring within the top 5% of the Kingsley Index database.
The recognized communities include AVE Union and AVE Florham Park in New Jersey; AVE Austin North Lamar; AVE Las Colinas in Dallas; AVE Phoenix Sky and AVE Phoenix Terra; AVE Tampa Riverwalk; The Franklin Residences in Philadelphia; AVE King of Prussia in Pennsylvania; and AVE Blue Bell in Pennsylvania.
“Our teams show up every day committed to delivering a hospitality-driven living experience,” said Lea Anne Welsh, president of AVE and chief operating officer of Korman Communities. She said the ranking reflects feedback from residents.
To qualify for a Grace Hill Excellence Award, properties must exceed benchmarks established by the Kingsley Index, a performance benchmarking database used in the real estate industry.
“Surveys are the premier tool to gain insight and benchmark change,” said Kendall Pretzer, chief executive officer of Grace Hill. He said the awards recognize companies that exceed industry standards in resident experience.
Korman Communities, a fifth-generation real estate firm, operates AVE communities across multiple U.S. markets.
