BLUE BELL, PA — AVASOFT said it has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, strengthening its alignment with Microsoft’s security ecosystem as enterprises confront increasingly complex and persistent cyber threats.
The Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, known as MISA, brings together software developers and security services providers that integrate closely with Microsoft Security technologies. Membership is intended to help organizations deploy more cohesive defenses by combining partner solutions with Microsoft’s cloud, identity, and threat protection platforms.
AVASOFT said its security offering integrates across a broad range of Microsoft Security products, including Microsoft Entra, Intune, Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Purview, Sentinel, and Priva. By linking those tools with Microsoft Security Copilot, the company aims to help customers build unified, AI-assisted defense-in-depth strategies across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
The company said its approach aligns zero-trust controls, device posture management, extended detection and response, cloud-native application protection, data security, security information and event management, privacy risk management, and generative AI insights. The goal, AVASOFT said, is to improve how organizations detect, investigate, and respond to threats while maintaining consistent security policies and regulatory compliance.
Chief Technology Officer Sairam said joining MISA reinforces AVASOFT’s focus on delivering security solutions that work seamlessly with Microsoft technologies. He said enterprises are increasingly seeking ways to simplify security operations while maintaining confidence across cloud and hybrid environments.
Microsoft officials described MISA as a growing global ecosystem of security vendors collaborating to help customers respond to threats faster and more effectively. Maria Thomson, director of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, said members share a commitment to improving threat prediction, detection, and response through tighter integration and cooperation.
Founded in 2018, MISA was created to connect Microsoft security leaders with trusted partners to address the evolving threat landscape. The alliance focuses on delivering interoperable security solutions designed to operate at the speed and scale required in an era of AI-driven cyber risk.
