ATIXA and NABITA Launch Free K-12 Memberships to Strengthen School Safety and Compliance

Association of Title IX Administrators

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) and the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (NABITA) have introduced free K-12 Community Memberships, expanding access to critical resources for educators and school administrators nationwide. Funded by a grant from TNG Consulting, LLC, the initiative removes financial barriers that have prevented some K-12 professionals from joining the organizations.

The new membership tier provides educators with foundational access to ATIXA and NABITA’s professional networks, curated resources, and discounted training opportunities. Designed as an entry point for schools and districts, the program offers tools that support compliance, prevention, and student well-being initiatives.

Brett A. Sokolow, J.D., Chair of the TNG Board of Directors and Chief Resolution Officer of the FAIR Center, emphasized the program’s inclusive intent. “Potential K-12 members have referenced that school and district purchasing policies are obstacles to joining,” he said. “We are excited to make our big tent even bigger and more accessible, and we look forward to welcoming a wide base of new K-12 members to each association.”

ATIXA and NABITA note that K-12 institutions are increasingly at the forefront of Title IX compliance and behavioral intervention. With growing demands for equity, safety, and student support, the free memberships aim to ensure every district has access to professional expertise and best practices.

Benefits include access to national peer networks, tailored resources for Title IX and Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM), exclusive virtual events, and member discounts on professional trainings. By opening these communities to more educators, ATIXA and NABITA seek to advance consistent standards of safety and equity across the nation’s schools.
