DRESHER, PA — Ascensus announced that Josh Rundle will join the company later this month as Head of Investment & Wealth Solutions, a newly created role reporting directly to Chair and CEO David Musto.
The appointment reflects Ascensus’ push to deepen its investment and wealth offerings across its technology-enabled savings platform, which supports nearly 16 million savers nationwide.
“As an independent, technology-enabled savings platform, Ascensus sees the benefits of connectivity across the workplace and savings ecosystems in support of our noble purpose ‘to help more savers save more,’” Musto said. “Josh’s leadership will add momentum to our efforts and strengthen the value we bring to savers, employers, and program sponsors. We are uniquely positioned to support our partners in democratizing the best investment and wealth solutions across virtually every form of tax-advantaged savings.”
Rundle joins Ascensus after 17 years with Transamerica, where he held senior roles including Head of Retirement Solutions, President of Transamerica Retirement Advisors, and Head of Product – Workplace Solutions. He led initiatives to build investment partnerships, develop co-manufactured products, and advance workplace-to-wealth strategies.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Risk Management from Illinois Wesleyan University and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. Rundle is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst, and previously served on the board of the American Benefits Council.
His appointment signals Ascensus’ continued focus on broadening investment solutions while reinforcing partnerships across the retirement, wealth management, and insurance ecosystems.
