PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia’s largest affordable art fair, Art for the Cash Poor, is making its anticipated return on Saturday, June 14. Organized by the non-profit arts organization, InLiquid, the annual event celebrates its 25th year of promoting local artists and connecting them with the public. From 12 to 6 p.m., more than 100 artists, vendors, and craftspeople will exhibit their work both inside the Crane Arts Building and along North American Street at 1400 N. American Street in South Kensington.

The free outdoor festival is open to all and offers the community an accessible way to celebrate art and culture, providing attendees the opportunity to purchase original artwork for $250 or less. “Art for the Cash Poor has always been about making art accessible while supporting local artists,” said an event representative.

From paintings and sculptures to handmade clothing, jewelry, and home décor, the event will feature creatives working across a variety of mediums. The festival’s inclusive and welcoming atmosphere is designed to draw in seasoned collectors, first-time buyers, and families alike. Over 2,000 attendees are expected to enjoy this year’s festivities.

The event is made possible through the support of numerous community sponsors, including Penn Treaty Special Services District, Visit Philadelphia, Green Mountain Energy, the Philadelphia Cultural Fund, and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.

Art for the Cash Poor offers direct benefits to participating artists, ensuring that every sale supports the talent and hard work of the area’s creative community. Attendees are invited to explore, meet local artists, and find one-of-a-kind pieces while celebrating 25 years of Philadelphia’s vibrant arts culture.
