PHILADELPHIA, PA — Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) said it is expanding food service and hospitality operations at multiple venues and campuses during the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament to support fans and student-athletes.

The company said it will serve spectators at three arenas hosting early tournament rounds: Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on March 20 and 22, SAP Center in San Jose on March 26 and 28, and Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on March 27 and 29.

Aramark said it expects to serve more than 250,000 fans across those sites during the preliminary rounds.

In addition to in-arena operations, the company said it is supporting athletes through its Training Table program, which provides nutrition services at more than 20 Division I schools in coordination with team staff and dietitians.

“Our Training Table teams work hand-in-hand with sports dietitians, coaching staff, and performance teams to deliver the customized nutrition required for peak performance,” said Barbara Flanagan, president and CEO of Aramark Collegiate Hospitality.

The company said campus dining programs are also hosting tournament-related events, including themed watch parties and food-focused activities tied to the basketball season.

Aramark said it will introduce a portable food item, known as the “Pop-A-Tot,” at its tournament venues, with location-specific variations offered in Philadelphia, San Jose, and Washington.
