CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — AdaptHealth Corp. (NASDAQ: AHCO) has entered into a significant five-year agreement with a major national healthcare system, positioning the company as the exclusive provider of home medical equipment and supplies across the system’s extensive network. The deal will cover more than 10 million members nationwide, including those in Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care, and private insurance plans.
The agreement is structured primarily as a capitation model—an arrangement that offers fixed, per-member payments for services—highlighting a strategic shift toward more predictable cost structures and consistent patient care delivery.
“We are excited to work with our new partner to help its members achieve their best health at home,” said Suzanne Foster, CEO of AdaptHealth. “We were able to demonstrate how our combination of talent, expertise, and tech-enabled patient experience aligned with the healthcare system’s innovative approach to serving its membership.”
The contract underscores AdaptHealth’s growing presence in the home healthcare space and aligns with broader industry trends emphasizing in-home care, value-based payment models, and enhanced care coordination.
“This partnership reaffirms that we are uniquely positioned to drive non-acquired growth as we transform healthcare services in the home,” Foster added, “through innovative service arrangements that deliver consistent experiences and more predictable costs to the patients, plan members, providers, and payors in the U.S. healthcare system.”
The agreement includes certain termination provisions but marks a significant milestone for AdaptHealth’s long-term strategy of organic growth and integrated care delivery.
