WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Health Department cited four food establishments as out of compliance during inspections conducted February 17, identifying violations related to food handling, sanitation, plumbing and equipment.

The inspections included facilities in Kimberton, Spring City, Coatesville and West Chester. Health officials note that inspections represent conditions observed at the time of the visit and may not reflect a facility’s long-term status.

Camphill Café, 1601 Pughtown Road in Kimberton, received five violations. Inspectors reported uncovered food at a service counter, a lack of soap and paper towels at handwashing sinks, unclean surfaces in a walk-in refrigerator and a staff toilet that did not flush completely.
