MALVERN, PA — HMP Global is transforming how clinicians access wound care education, rolling out a year-round learning model designed to keep pace with a rapidly evolving specialty while reducing cost and administrative friction.
The company said its new WoundCon365 program will launch in 2026, expanding the long-running WoundCon virtual conference into a continuous learning platform that offers accredited education, expert-led sessions, and global peer engagement across three annual events. Registration is now open.
WoundCon365 is aimed at physicians, nurses, podiatrists, dietitians, and other clinicians who manage complex wounds and need ongoing access to evidence-based guidance. The model replaces single-event registration with an all-inclusive annual pass that allows clinicians to earn CME and CE credits throughout the year, on their own schedules.
HMP Global said the shift reflects growing demand for flexible professional development and addresses longstanding barriers to clinical education, including travel costs, limited access windows, and fragmented registration processes.
The Unlimited 365 Pass gives participants unrestricted access to all WoundCon events, eliminating the need to track multiple registrations or navigate fluctuating pricing. The company said the approach is designed to support better patient outcomes by allowing clinicians to quickly reference emerging best practices and apply them directly to care decisions.
Educational programming for 2026 will include expanded content on limb preservation, diabetic foot management, and multidisciplinary approaches to wound prevention and healing. Sessions will also focus on practical skills, including assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and evidence-based strategies to improve healing outcomes.
The program is led by an interdisciplinary committee that includes advanced practice nurses, physicians, and clinical educators with deep experience in wound care and medical education. Organizers said the year-round format allows the curriculum to evolve alongside clinical evidence rather than being confined to a single annual event.
Catherine Milne, co-chair of WoundCon, said the continuous model is intended to meet clinicians where they are, offering timely access to education, credits, and professional connection throughout the year. Jayesh Shah, co-chair of the conference, said the format supports faster translation of evidence into practice, a critical factor in improving outcomes in wound care.
WoundCon365 will be delivered entirely online, with live and on-demand access, reinforcing HMP Global’s broader push toward scalable, digital-first medical education as healthcare professionals face increasing time constraints and regulatory demands.
