WEST CHESTER, PA — A. Duie Pyle announced the winners of its first Brokerage Carrier of the Year Awards, recognizing carrier partners across four categories for performance within its brokerage operations.
The awards honor partners in the categories of Pool Carrier of the Year, Box Truck Carrier of the Year, Carrier of the Year and Excellence in Partnership, the company said in a release.
According to Pyle, nominees were selected by its team based on communication, transparency, commitment and collaboration. Winners received a physical award and a letter of appreciation.
Best Express was named Pool Carrier of the Year. The company achieved a 98% on-time delivery rate and recorded no claims, Pyle said.
Oneil & Sharome Trucking LLC received the Box Truck Carrier of the Year award. Pyle said the carrier served as an in-house provider for a key customer and was recognized for operational consistency and flexibility.
Total Transportation of Mississippi was named Carrier of the Year. Pyle said the company handled a range of transportation needs, including long-term freight and short-term projects, and assisted during driver shortages.
Velija Trucking LLC received the Excellence in Partnership award. The company has partnered with Pyle Brokerage for more than 10 years, according to the release.
Craig Lough, director of strategic planning at A. Duie Pyle, said the awards were created to recognize carriers that help maintain supply chain performance and customer service standards.
A. Duie Pyle is headquartered in West Chester and provides transportation and logistics services across the Northeast.
