Vanguard Launches Target Maturity Corporate Bond ETF Suite

Vanguard

VALLEY FORGE, PA — Vanguard has launched a suite of 10 target maturity corporate bond exchange-traded funds designed to provide investors with defined maturity exposures within fixed income portfolios, the company announced.

The funds, branded as Vanguard Target Maturity Corporate Bond ETFs, are structured to allow investors to align bond investments with specific time horizons while maintaining diversification and liquidity.

Vanguard said the ETFs are intended as an alternative to traditional bond ladders and separately managed accounts by combining features of individual bonds with the structure of ETFs.

Each fund in the suite has an expense ratio of 0.08%, according to the company.

The ETFs are designed to help investors manage interest rate and credit risk across different maturity periods.

Geoff Parrish, global head of fixed income indexing at Vanguard, said the products are intended to address demand for more flexible fixed income strategies.

“There is growing demand for approaches that provide the flexibility and control needed to address an increasingly broad set of investment goals,” Parrish said.
