MALVERN, PA — The Institutes RiskStream Collaborative has named Allstate, Liberty Mutual, and The Hartford as recipients of its 2025 Leadership Award, recognizing their role in accelerating industry adoption of RAPID X, a data-exchange solution designed to reshape how auto insurance claims information is shared and analyzed.
The award highlights the insurers’ efforts to lead RAPID X from integration to production, with a focus on tackling persistent industry challenges such as legal system abuse and early identification of injury-related risks. RiskStream said the three companies demonstrated sustained commitment to collaborative innovation and practical deployment of technology intended to improve outcomes across the auto insurance ecosystem.
RAPID X is part of RiskStream’s broader push to enable trusted, secure data exchange among insurers, allowing companies to identify emerging trends earlier, reduce fraud exposure, and improve claims decision-making. RiskStream officials said leadership from major carriers has been critical in moving the solution from concept to real-world use.
“We’re proud to once again be recognized by the RiskStream Collaborative,” said Adam L’Italien, chief innovation officer at Liberty Mutual. “This recognition reflects our team’s continued commitment to working alongside industry partners to advance impactful, real-world solutions that support our customers and drive our industry forward.”
The Hartford said RAPID X is becoming an increasingly important tool in its claims operations. Dimitrius King, head of auto, property and workers compensation claims, said the platform supports efforts to detect risk patterns earlier and prevent future losses.
“We believe RAPID X is an important tool in our effort to identify emerging risk trends, mitigate and prevent future losses, and improve outcomes for our customers,” King said. “We look forward to continuing to work with industry partners to address key issues related to legal system abuse and auto claim trends.”
RiskStream also cited Allstate for its leadership in advancing adoption of the platform, noting that engagement from large national insurers helps create momentum for broader participation across the industry.
The Collaborative said it plans to expand insurer participation in 2026 as adoption of RAPID X grows, positioning the platform as a foundational element of next-generation data sharing in auto insurance.
