WAYNE, PA — YoCierge has officially joined Civitas Networks for Health, a nationwide coalition of organizations dedicated to improving health through data sharing and multistakeholder collaboration. The move supports YoCierge’s mission to streamline medical record access for legal and insurance professionals serving individuals with catastrophic injuries.
By connecting to health information exchanges (HIEs) and national data networks, YoCierge aims to eliminate administrative bottlenecks, reduce paperwork, and speed up case resolution for patients, attorneys, and insurers.
“We’re excited to join Civitas and collaborate with leaders advancing data sharing nationwide,” said George Bessenyei, Founder and CEO of YoCierge. “Our mission is to make legal and insurance processes faster, more transparent, and less paper-dependent—while also empowering patients to control access to their own medical data.”
Currently, YoCierge is operational with HIEs in New York and Delaware and is working to expand into additional markets. These integrations are designed to support timely, consent-based access to medical records for use in legal case management, claims adjudication, and recovery coordination.
The company’s participation in Civitas will help deepen its integration with health data systems, improve compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act and TEFCA regulations, and promote interoperability across healthcare and legal sectors.
“We’re thrilled to welcome YoCierge to the Civitas community,” said Jolie Ritzo, MPH, Interim CEO of Civitas Networks for Health. “Their work at the intersection of health data and legal services highlights how interoperability can drive better health outcomes across sectors. By streamlining medical record access for those navigating complex recoveries, YoCierge is helping bridge systems in a way that aligns with our mission to advance equity, transparency, and timely data access for all. We’re thrilled to have them as a new member and look forward to having them join us at this year’s Annual Conference, where members and partners come together to deepen industry connections.”
YoCierge’s expansion through Civitas marks a significant step in transforming how healthcare and legal systems collaborate—especially for patients who require fast and accurate data flow across multiple service providers.
