ELVERSON, PA — Walmart celebrated the grand reopening of its newly renovated Supercenter at 100 Crossings Boulevard in Elverson on Friday, June 13. The upgraded store offers customers a reimagined shopping experience focused on convenience, technology, and community engagement.

The event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration, where store associates showcased the enhancements and revealed a mural inspired by the Elverson area. Local organizations joined the festivities, underscoring Walmart’s commitment to serving the community.

“At Walmart, enhancing our customers’ shopping experience is always a priority,” said Benjamin Nolin, Walmart store manager. “We’re thrilled to unveil a variety of new features and improvements at our store. A big thank you to our dedicated associates and store leadership teams for their exceptional efforts throughout the renovation.”

Key upgrades to the store include interactive displays, expanded online pickup and delivery options, and revamped departments featuring more apparel brands. Customers can also explore digital touchpoints like QR codes and screens highlighting additional product options. The store now boasts a reconfigured layout for better navigation, updated Vision and Pharmacy areas, and a refreshed interior and exterior complete with new signage, enhanced parking, and landscaping improvements.

To further connect with the community, Walmart presented $3,888 in grants to local nonprofits during the celebration. Beneficiaries included the Twin Valley Fire Department ($1,500), Honey Brook Fire Company ($1,500), Honey Brook Community Library ($1,000), and the Hawk Mountain Bike Club ($388).

Adding a unique touch to the reopening, local artist Margalo Guo crafted a mural celebrating the Twin Valley area. Depicting a serene sunrise over a picturesque landscape, the artwork reflects the local charm and is part of Walmart’s Community Mural Program, one of the largest public art initiatives in the country.

By combining modernized store features with meaningful community partnerships, Walmart’s transformed Elverson Supercenter sets a new standard for its role as a vibrant hub for both shopping and local connection.
