EXTON, PATrinseo (NYSE: TSE), the global specialty materials company headquartered in Wayne, has officially opened its new North America Innovation Center in the Oaklands Corporate Center, positioning Chester County as a key hub in the company’s worldwide research and development network.

The facility is one of only three Global Innovation Centers operated by Trinseo, joining sister locations in Rheinmünster, Germany, and Terneuzen in the Netherlands. Company leaders, customers, and employees marked the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Designed to accelerate collaboration and product development, the Exton center features advanced testing laboratories, multiple materials compounding lines, and flexible workspaces meant to foster cross-functional problem-solving. Trinseo incorporated several of its own flagship materials into the buildout — including Avonite Solid Surfaces and Plexiglas PMMA sheets — to demonstrate their durability and versatility.
