MALVERN, PA — Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) has announced the introduction of its VIA series isolation amplifiers, consisting of the VIA0050DD, VIA0250DD, and VIA2000SD. The new devices are engineered to deliver high precision, reliability, and compact designs for a range of critical applications in industrial, automotive, and medical fields.
Highlighted by a typical common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 150 kV/μs and a notably low typical gain error of ±0.05%, these amplifiers excel in challenging environments. Their high bandwidth of 400 kHz supports faster measurements, while low offset error, low drift, and built-in diagnostics ensure superior performance and simplified maintenance.
The VIA0050DD is tailored for space-constrained, low-power applications like power inverters and motor phase current sensing, offering a minimum CMTI of 100 kV/μs and a differential input voltage of ±50 mV. The VIA0250DD supports isolated voltage and current measurement with a wider differential input voltage of ±250 mV. The VIA2000SD boasts the highest signal-to-noise ratio and bandwidth within the series, making it ideal for high-fidelity voltage measurements in advanced systems such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
Operating across a broad temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and compatible with Vishay’s high-power shunts, the VIA amplifiers are positioned to meet demanding requirements, from solar and power inverters to medical devices and AC motor controls.
