Vishay Introduces 0201 AEC-Q200 Thick Film Chip Resistors

Vishay Intertechnology

MALVERN, PA — Vishay Intertechnology Inc. (NYSE: VSH) introduced a new series of AEC-Q200 qualified thick film chip resistors in the 0201 case size for automotive, industrial and telecommunications applications.

The CRCW0201-AT e3 series measures 0.6 mm by 0.3 mm by 0.23 mm and is designed to reduce printed circuit board space requirements compared with larger 0402 devices, the company said.

Vishay said the new resistors reduce PCB area requirements by 50% compared with the next-larger case size while maintaining electrical performance and reliability.
