Vishay Intertechnology Expands Inductor and Frequency Control Product Lines with Over 2,000 New SKUs

Vishay Intertechnology

MALVERN, PAVishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) announced that it has completed a major expansion of its inductor and frequency control device (FCD) portfolios, adding more than 2,000 new SKUs across nearly 100 product series since the initiative’s launch in September 2024. The rollout, which continues through 2025, broadens the company’s component offerings for industrial, telecom, and consumer applications.

The expansion introduces a wide range of new inductors and FCDs designed to simplify sourcing and enhance performance across diverse designs. Vishay’s new releases include wireless charging inductors, common-mode chokes, high-current ferrite impedance beads, TLVR inductors, and nearly 15 new FCD products. These additions offer greater flexibility in inductance and voltage ranges, improved noise suppression, and more form-factor options to meet increasingly compact PCB designs.

“This expansion was designed to deliver on our commitment to give customers maximum design flexibility, and the market response has confirmed that we’ve hit the mark,” said Mike Husman, Senior Vice President of Vishay’s Inductor Division. “We’re now seeing the impact of this expansion in the field — thousands of new SKUs, strong uptake through distribution, and a clear signal from our customers that they value the depth and readiness of our offering.”

To support the expanded lineup, Vishay has increased global manufacturing capacity across Asia, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. The company’s flagship IHLP® power inductors are now shipping from its La Laguna plant in Gómez Palacio, Durango, as part of its strategy to diversify production and strengthen supply chain resilience through vertically integrated manufacturing.

Vishay expects to exceed 3,000 new SKUs across its inductor and FCD families by the completion of the expansion later in 2025, positioning the company to meet rising global demand for compact, high-performance electronic components.
