Red Rover Launches Professional Development Management Platform for K–12 Districts

Red Rover

EXTON, PARed Rover has introduced a new Professional Development Management solution designed to help school districts streamline educator growth, compliance tracking, and Continued Education Unit (CEU) management. The platform integrates directly with Red Rover’s existing suite of HR tools — including Absence Management, Time Tracking, Onboarding, and Hiring — providing a unified system built specifically for K–12 operations.

“Professional development in K–12 is too important to be buried under spreadsheets and disconnected systems,” said Dani O’Shaughnessey, co-founder and CEO of Red Rover. “Like every solution we build, this one is designed hand-in-hand with district leaders to solve the challenges they face every day. Our Professional Development Management solution is purpose-built for K–12, and it offers districts a smarter way to manage PD requirements while making the process easier and more transparent.”

The new platform allows administrators to automate CEU tracking, manage certification renewals, and generate audit-ready reports while reducing manual data entry. Teachers gain access to an intuitive dashboard where they can register for professional development sessions, monitor progress, and track completion milestones.

Red Rover’s integrated design ensures PD activities sync directly with HR functions such as absence and time tracking. When educators register for training, the system automatically updates absence schedules, allowing administrators to arrange classroom coverage without disruption.

With educator retention and burnout continuing to challenge districts, the company said its new platform aims to ease administrative burden while supporting teacher development and compliance.

“Districts need a system that works like they do — fast, fully integrated, and focused on providing better support for the people who keep schools running,” O’Shaughnessey added. “That’s what this solution and Red Rover delivers.”
