Red Rover Launches Employee Records Platform for K-12 School Districts

EXTON, PA — Red Rover announced the launch of Records, a human capital management tool designed to help K-12 school districts capture, manage, and retain employee data within its workforce management platform.

The company said the Records system is designed for school district human resources administrators and integrates with existing Red Rover tools including absence management, time tracking, hiring, and professional development systems.

Red Rover said school districts face growing administrative demands related to workforce documentation, regulatory compliance, and employee lifecycle management.

The new system is intended to provide a centralized digital platform to store employee records, manage documentation, and track compliance requirements across hiring, employment, and separation processes.

Dani O’Shaughnessy, co-founder and chief executive officer of Red Rover, said the product is intended to help districts manage workforce data more efficiently while meeting regulatory requirements.

“Today’s K-12 school districts face increasing demands for efficient HR processes that streamline workflows for managing employee data while remaining compliant with regulations that vary by district and state,” O’Shaughnessy said.

The system allows HR administrators to create customized digital forms and workflows, store employee documentation, and track professional certifications and licensure requirements.

Red Rover said the platform also provides reporting and compliance monitoring features designed to help districts meet state and local regulatory standards.

Craig Waldvogel, director of operations for Albany Area Schools in Minnesota, said the system has allowed the district to replace paper and online forms with a centralized platform.

“By using Red Rover Records, we’ve eliminated paper forms, Google Forms, and JotForms by centralizing everything into one streamlined system,” Waldvogel said.

The company said future updates to the Records platform are expected to include contract management tools, expanded workflow automation, analytics features, and additional employee self-service functions.
