Envestnet Launches Dash Planning Tool in MoneyGuide Platform

Envestnet

BERWYN, PA — Envestnet (NYSE: ENV) announced the rollout of a new planning tool, Dash, within its MoneyGuide platform as part of its first quarterly technology update of 2026, aimed at helping advisors engage prospective and underserved clients with limited upfront data entry.

The company said Dash is designed to reduce barriers to financial planning by allowing users to input basic financial information and begin planning discussions more quickly.

Dash captures core data points including income, assets, goals, and risk preferences to generate an initial financial snapshot for advisors, according to the company.

“Dash is … a minimal but meaningful approach for advisors to begin planning discussions with prospects,” said Matt Wilson, head of business strategy at Envestnet | MoneyGuide.

The tool is intended for use on advisory firm websites and is designed to support both new prospects and smaller or underserved clients.

Envestnet said Dash integrates with its broader MoneyGuide system and customer relationship management platforms, allowing data entered by users to transfer directly into more detailed financial plans.

The company also announced additional updates to MoneyGuide, including new features for modeling retirement income, tax impacts, and contribution limits.

Among the updates, users can now include retirement income as a separate funding source, apply new Roth catch-up contribution rules under federal law, and model annual contribution increases across retirement plans.

The company said it will continue updating the platform to reflect regulatory changes and expand planning capabilities.
