AFS Unveils IRIS to Enhance Commercial Lending Reporting

Automated Financial Systems (AFS)

EXTON, PA — Automated Financial Systems, Inc. (AFS®) has launched IRIS, a state-of-the-art reporting tool integrated within the AFSVision® commercial lending servicing system. This innovation is designed to streamline how financial institutions manage data and gain actionable insights into their lending portfolios.

IRIS, included in AFSVision Release 3.8, empowers users with customizable reporting and dashboard capabilities. It offers pre-configured reports and “decision-ready” dashboards that highlight key portfolio metrics, such as adverse trends, borrower events like maturities and delinquencies, and portfolio composition. With access to transaction-level data and significant historical insights, the tool enables deeper trend analysis and portfolio management.

According to Rick Bare, CEO and President of AFS, “The development of IRIS started with extensive discussions with clients and partners to understand their current reporting practices and pain points. Based on these insights, AFS created IRIS to offer a comprehensive reporting option fully integrated within the AFSVision system. We are confident that having an integrated reporting tool within AFSVision will lessen our customers’ dependence on centralized data warehouses and significantly accelerate access to the critical information our clients need to run their businesses.”

The new tool debuted at the 2025 AFS Summit, one of the industry’s leading events, with attendees praising its innovative approach. “The client feedback has been extremely positive,” Bare noted. “After discussing their challenges in accessing reliable data from centralized databases, we heard over and over after the reveal that they see IRIS as a solution to these challenges, providing a trusted and easy-to-use reporting and analytics solution.”

Seamlessly integrated with AFSVision, IRIS is poised to redefine how financial institutions access, analyze, and act on commercial lending data.
