EXTON, PA — Playa Bowls, the popular superfruit bowl franchise known for its vibrant, beach-inspired atmosphere, is making its debut in Exton on Saturday, November 8. The new shop, located at 159 West Lincoln Highway across from Whole Foods and Exton Square Mall, will celebrate its grand opening with free bowls, giveaways, and a dose of coastal charm.
The first 50 guests in line will receive a free bowl and Playa Bowls t-shirt, kicking off a five-day celebration of prizes and promotions that includes a chance to win free bowls for an entire month.
The Exton location is a family-run venture led by West Chester University student and entrepreneur Leo Khugaev, his mother Dr. Olga Bokeriya, and his sister Sofiia. The team aims to bring a health-conscious yet indulgent dining option to the community, inspired by the brand’s roots at the Jersey Shore.
“For us, Playa Bowls represents the perfect balance. It’s better-for-you, convenient, and never sacrifices on quality,” said Khugaev. “After discovering the brand at the shore, I knew it would be a great fit for a community like Exton, where people value wellness and nutritious food.”
Dr. Bokeriya, a cardiologist, said the shop’s focus on heart-healthy, nutrient-dense foods aligns with her medical philosophy. “Playa Bowls makes it easy for people to choose something that nourishes their body while fitting into their busy routines,” she said.
Offering an extensive menu of customizable superfruit bowls, smoothies, and cold brews, Playa Bowls caters to a range of diets including vegan, gluten-free, Keto, and Paleo. The shop will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., adding a bright new destination for locals seeking a refreshing and wholesome bite in the heart of Chester County.
