New Hire Brings Big Expertise to Growing Trusts and Estates Practice

BERWYN, PAMcAndrews, Mehalick, Connolly, Hulse and Ryan P.C. has added attorney Joan Graner to its Estates and Trusts Department, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in a practice area that continues to see rising demand across Pennsylvania.

Graner joins the firm as an associate attorney, bringing experience across estate planning, special needs trusts, guardianship matters, trust administration, elder law planning, Medicaid and Social Security compliance, and Orphans’ Court proceedings. She previously founded and managed her own private practice, where she focused on estate and trust administration, real estate work, and small-business representation.

She holds a Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School and is admitted to the Pennsylvania bar. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a concentration in international business from Pennsylvania State University.

Firm leadership highlighted Graner’s arrival as a strategic addition. Lesley Mehalick, supervising partner of the Estates and Trusts Department, said Graner’s background will help the department meet growing client needs.
