BERWYN, PA — Mural Health Technologies, Inc. has expanded its support platform for clinical trial participants by adding pre-funded meal delivery services, a move the company says will help reduce everyday barriers that often discourage or complicate trial participation.
The service, launched in partnership with ModifyHealth, allows participants and caregivers in U.S.-based trials using the Mural Link platform to order healthy, ready-to-eat meals aligned with their dietary and medical needs at no out-of-pocket cost. Mural Health manages all logistics, aiming to streamline the process without adding work for trial sites.
The new offering joins a growing list of participant support tools inside Mural Link, including multiple payment options, integrated rideshare and travel support, site-participant communication tools, real-time reporting, and dedicated assistance from the company’s Patient Kindness Group.
Sam Whitaker, co-founder and CEO of Mural Health, said the expansion reflects the company’s mission to remove friction from the clinical trial experience. He said access to nutritious meals can be a meaningful factor for trial participants balancing medical, financial, and logistical pressures.
Oshrat Goldberg, the company’s chief commercial officer, said providing meals supports Mural Health’s push for “participant kindness and financial neutrality” — reducing burdens that might otherwise deter people from joining or staying in a trial.
The program is launching nationwide and will extend to additional regions as the company continues expanding its global partnerships and platform capabilities.
