WAYNE, PA — Inverness Graham announced that its portfolio company Alliant has acquired AnalyticsIQ, a leading firm in predictive analytics and people-based marketing data. The strategic move aims to create a top-tier data-driven marketing powerhouse, enhancing targeting precision and campaign effectiveness for clients.
AnalyticsIQ is known for combining cognitive psychology with advanced statistical methods to model consumer behavior and intent. Its proprietary approach, which leverages survey-based data and machine learning, allows marketers to understand not only what consumers do, but why they do it — a valuable edge for advertisers seeking to engage high-value audiences through personalized strategies.
Michael Morrissey, Managing Principal at Inverness Graham, emphasized the strategic alignment of the two companies. He noted that integrating Alliant’s rich cooperative transaction data with AnalyticsIQ’s predictive modeling capabilities would significantly improve audience targeting across traditional and digital channels, ultimately delivering deeper market reach and expanded applications.
As part of the acquisition, Scarlett Shipp, previously CEO of AnalyticsIQ, has been appointed CEO of the combined company. JoAnne Monfradi Dunn, founder and outgoing CEO of Alliant, will retire from daily operations but remain actively involved as a Board member, providing strategic guidance during the transition.
Shipp highlighted the mission to scale AnalyticsIQ’s behavioral insights and further advance the firm’s leadership in data innovation. “Our team has spent years building predictive data that helps brands not just understand what people do—but why they do it,” she said. “Joining forces with Alliant enables us to scale that mission and bring even more powerful insights to clients across channels.”
The acquisition aligns with Inverness Graham and Alliant’s broader strategy to pursue additional partnerships and acquisitions in high-quality marketing data, analytics, and technology sectors.
Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP served as legal counsel to Inverness Graham, while Stephens Inc. acted as exclusive financial advisor to AnalyticsIQ. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
The merger spotlights an accelerating trend in the marketing industry toward data integration and personalization, positioning the new combined entity to meet evolving demands for smarter, insight-driven customer engagement.
