MALVERN, PA — The Institutes CPCU Society announced the launch of In2Leadership 2026, a two-day immersive leadership program designed to equip risk management and insurance professionals with practical skills aimed at elevating team performance and navigating rapid industry change.
The program, scheduled for April 28–29 in Nashville, is presented in partnership with the University of Georgia Terry College of Business Executive Education and will focus on applied leadership development tailored to the evolving demands of the insurance and risk management sector.
Organizers say the initiative is structured around real-world application rather than theory, offering interactive workshops, facilitated discussions and hands-on exercises led by UGA faculty and industry leaders.
“In2Leadership is where risk management and insurance professionals come to sharpen the skills that matter most right now, leading people, navigating change, and delivering results,” said Spenser Villwock, MBA, IOM, CAE, Executive Director of The Institutes CPCU Society. “With UGA Terry College of Business Executive Education as our partner, we are proud to support both emerging leaders stepping into new roles and established leaders who want to elevate their impact for their teams, their organizations, and the people they serve.”
UGA Terry College of Business Executive Education will provide faculty expertise across leadership, management, innovation and digital transformation.
“We’re proud to partner with The Institutes CPCU Society on In2Leadership,” said Dennis Lanham, executive director of Professional and Executive Education at the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. “This collaboration brings real-world, applied leadership development to risk and insurance professionals; giving them the capabilities and confidence to lead teams, manage change, and deliver impact where it matters most.”
Workshops will include sessions on enhancing team effectiveness, resilience and leading through ambiguity, and understanding and leading digital transformation. Featured faculty include Dr. Onyedikachi “Kachi” Ekwerike of UGA’s Institute for Leadership Advancement, innovation coach Steve Nedvidek, and Aaron Schecter, associate professor in the Department of Management Information Systems.
Participants will earn a digital badge from UGA Terry College of Business Executive Education and leave with action plans designed for immediate implementation within their organizations.
Beyond formal instruction, organizers said the event will emphasize peer networking and shared industry perspectives as professionals confront accelerating technological and operational change.
