Comcast

EAST NOTTINGHAM TWP, PA — In case you missed it, Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) recently expanded its broadband network to more than 5,200 homes and businesses in East Nottingham Township and Oxford Borough, extending high-speed internet access in Southern Chester County.

Construction has been completed in East Nottingham, while work in Oxford Borough is nearing completion.

The expansion is part of a broader effort to extend broadband access in the region, including ongoing construction in Lower Oxford Township and West Nottingham, and state-supported projects in Highland, Penn, Upper Oxford, West Fallowfield and West Sadsbury townships.

Comcast said the upgraded network provides multi-gigabit internet service and supports residential and business connectivity needs.

Residents can check service availability and enroll at https://www.xfinity.com/mytown or visit the Xfinity retail store in Newark, Delaware.

Cheryl Kuhn, president and chief executive officer of the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce, said the expansion addresses gaps in broadband availability for residents and businesses.

“Bringing state-of-the-art technology to Oxford Borough empowers our residents and businesses to thrive,” Kuhn said.

The company said its residential services in the area include internet, mobile, television, voice and home security offerings.
