WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County is getting a new reason to smile next spring. Alsies, a fast-growing gourmet ice cream truck brand, has announced a franchise agreement with local couple Kellie and Tim Haenn to bring its handcrafted ice cream sandwiches and nostalgic treats to West Chester and surrounding communities in early 2026.

The new franchise will blend small-town charm with modern convenience, featuring a mobile app that allows customers to track the truck in real time, receive text alerts when it’s nearby, and even summon it directly to their location. The goal, according to the company, is to merge the classic joy of the ice cream truck with today’s on-demand experience.

“We couldn’t be more excited about partnering with Tim and Kellie to bring Alsies to West Chester,” said Travis Kososki, founder and CEO of Alsies. “Their enthusiasm and community focus make them ideal partners to introduce our reimagined, technology-enabled ice cream truck experience to the area.”

Alsies’ franchise program is built around a mission to spread happiness through simple, nostalgic moments — one scoop at a time. The Haenns, both longtime Chester County residents, said they’re eager to give back to the community that raised them while creating lasting memories for a new generation.

“Spring can’t get here soon enough — our three boys are counting down the days!” said Kellie, who will oversee daily operations. “We are incredibly excited to deliver happiness to Chester County’s residents and we feel confident that once people see the truck on the road and experience Alsies first hand, they’ll love it like we do.”

With a curated menu of gourmet ice cream sandwiches, locally inspired favorites, and timeless classics, Alsies is poised to turn the streets of West Chester into the county’s sweetest destination.
