WEST CHESTER, PA — A. Duie Pyle has opened a new less-than-truckload (LTL) service center in Rochester, New York, strengthening its operational reach across the Northeast and enhancing service for regional shippers.
The 6.3-acre facility, located at 1575 Emerson Street, features 25 service doors and sits near key transportation corridors, including I-490 and I-90. Its location provides improved connectivity to major commercial hubs, supporting more efficient freight movement and helping customers manage increasing shipment volumes. The new site also enables earlier delivery windows and later pick-up times, offering greater flexibility in a competitive logistics market.
“Rochester was a deliberate choice that supports our customer-first approach to expanding capacity and improving service throughout the Northeast,” said John Luciani, COO of LTL Solutions at A. Duie Pyle. “As supply chains grow more complex and transit times become more critical, we remain committed to continuously building a smarter, more responsive network that supports long-term success for our customers.”
The opening created 26 jobs, including drivers, dockworkers, fleet support, and leadership roles. Employment is expected to exceed 50 positions by the end of 2025, providing an economic boost to the local community.
This facility becomes Pyle’s 36th LTL service center in the Northeast, extending the company’s network and reinforcing its ability to deliver faster and more reliable service across New York and neighboring markets. The expansion underscores Pyle’s commitment to investing in infrastructure and workforce development to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving logistics landscape.
