Venerable Promotes Mark Fair to Vice President, Head of Investment Management

WEST CHESTER, PA —  Venerable has announced the promotion of Mark Fair to Vice President, Head of Investment Management, underscoring the firm’s commitment to leveraging internal talent to drive its strategic investment vision.

In his new role, Fair will oversee the management of Venerable’s investment portfolios, setting strategies and guidelines while monitoring performance and risk. He will also be responsible for evaluating and managing relationships with external investment managers, ensuring all portfolios align with the company’s objectives and risk parameters.

Fair brings over 20 years of investment experience to the position. Most recently, he served as Senior Portfolio Manager at Venerable, providing strategic leadership for the firm’s general account portfolios. Prior to joining Venerable, Fair held several trading and portfolio management positions at SEI Investments, where he specialized in developing liability-driven hedge strategies utilizing complex fixed-income instruments.

A graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, Fair earned his MBA with honors from the Villanova School of Business and holds the Certified Financial Risk Manager designation.
