DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Sow Good Now, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through service and philanthropy, has named Michael Rubin as its new Director of Operations and Programming. The appointment is part of the organization’s broader effort to strengthen its national programming and expand its reach.
Rubin brings a background in sports and entertainment management, paired with experience in operations and community engagement. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, he previously served as Operations and Front Desk Supervisor at The Edge Fitness Clubs, where he managed a high-volume facility, led a team of 12, and consistently exceeded performance benchmarks across 42 locations.
His experience in streamlining workflows and delivering meaningful member experiences is expected to support Sow Good Now’s mission as it develops new initiatives and scales its programs nationally.
“Michael understands the power of sports to unite, inspire, and mobilize,” said Mary Fischer-Nassib, CEO of Sow Good Now. “He’s not just a strong operations leader — he’s someone who sees the bigger picture and knows how to build relationships that last.”
With a career rooted in both sports communities and service, Rubin is positioned to bring fresh perspective to the nonprofit’s work. His leadership will be central as Sow Good Now seeks to broaden its impact by engaging young people in service opportunities that combine teamwork, philanthropy, and community building.
