VALLEY FORGE, PA — PJM Interconnection promoted two senior executives to executive vice president roles effective March 18, Interim President and CEO David E. Mills announced.
Asim Haque was promoted to executive vice president of governmental and member services, and Chris O’Hara was promoted to executive vice president, general counsel, secretary, and chief compliance officer.
“These appointments reflect the increasingly complex external landscapes in government and law, along with the broader responsibilities required to navigate them,” Mills said.
Haque, who joined PJM in 2019, oversees government relations and member services, including stakeholder affairs, client management, and state policy initiatives.
He previously served as chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and worked in private legal practice.
O’Hara, who joined PJM in 2017, leads the organization’s legal operations, including regulatory, litigation, and commercial matters.
He also serves as counsel and secretary to PJM’s board and as chief compliance officer, according to the company.
Before joining PJM, O’Hara spent 12 years at NRG Energy in various legal and compliance roles.
PJM Interconnection manages the high-voltage electric grid serving 67 million people across 13 states and the District of Columbia.
