DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Magnetic Leadership Consulting is launching a six-week Executive Pickleball League in Chester and Lancaster counties this spring, blending competition, fitness, and peer connection in a deliberately nontraditional setting for business leaders.
The invitation-only league will run weekly from late February through early April, with sessions held Thursday mornings at the YMCA Pickleball Center in Downingtown and Friday mornings at RCW Athletics in Lancaster. Organizers say the concept is designed for executives and senior decision-makers who want meaningful connections without the pressure of formal networking events.
Rather than traditional leagues or mixers, the format emphasizes relaxed competition and camaraderie. Players are guaranteed five games per week, with rotating partners, weekly statistics, and points awarded for both wins and attendance. Beginner clinics are built into each session, allowing newcomers to learn alongside more experienced players, and organizers say matches will be paired by skill level to keep play competitive.
The league is capped at 12 players per location and is open to co-ed participants ranging from beginners to advanced competitors. Attendance is flexible, with no penalties for work or travel conflicts, a structure intended to reflect the realities of executive schedules.
Magnetic Leadership Consulting, headquartered in Elverson, said the league grew out of its work with CEOs and executive leadership teams. Organizers described the program as a space for leaders to compete, decompress, and build relationships organically, rather than through what they characterize as rigid or transactional networking environments.
The cost is $180 per player and includes a six-week season, a league T-shirt, clinics for beginners, and weekly stat tracking. Early registration discounts are available through mid-February.
