MALVERN, PA — Peter L. Miller, CPCU, President and CEO of The Institutes, has been named a 2025 Philadelphia Titan, an honor that celebrates influential leaders across the Philadelphia region for their vision, passion, and contributions to their industries. The Titan 100 program spotlights top executives who have driven organizational success while making a meaningful community impact.
Under Miller’s leadership spanning more than two decades, The Institutes has undergone a transformation from a traditional educational entity into a purpose-driven organization encompassing 20 brands and affiliates. Built on over 115 years of expertise, The Institutes now educates more than 1 million students and professionals annually while addressing complex challenges within the risk management and insurance sectors, such as climate resilience, ethical artificial intelligence, and data standardization.
“I’m honored by this recognition, but more than anything, I see it as a reflection of the remarkable people I get to work with every day,” said Miller. “At The Institutes, through our numerous and diverse brands and affiliates, we’re focused on helping professionals build careers, companies strengthen operations, and communities become more resilient. That shared sense of purpose, along with the chance to connect people and ideas to solve complex challenges within risk management and insurance, is what continues to inspire me.”
The Institutes’ innovative approaches and neutral, not-for-profit mission have positioned them as collaborative leaders in addressing shared challenges in the evolving risk landscape, further solidifying their role as a trusted partner for industry stakeholders.
The Titan 100 program represents a diverse cohort of leaders, drawn from sectors such as financial services, healthcare, technology, and nonprofit organizations. Jaime Zawmon, President of Titan CEO, praised the honorees, stating, “Philadelphia’s Titan 100 are redefining business with vision and purpose, setting new standards for growth, innovation, and impact. These trailblazing leaders inspire transformation across industries, uplift communities, and drive meaningful change. We proudly celebrate their legacy of excellence and unwavering commitment to shaping a brighter future for all.”
Miller, along with other honorees, will be recognized at the Titan 100 gala set for September 2025. The event will serve as a celebration of the leaders who are setting the pace for innovation and impact across the greater Philadelphia region. For Miller, the award is a testament to collective success and the ongoing mission to lead with integrity and serve with purpose.
