BERWYN, PA — Envestnet, Inc. announced that John Hofmann will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2025. Hofmann, a veteran financial executive with extensive experience in the software and technology sectors, will oversee the company’s finance, mergers and acquisitions, and transformation operations, reporting directly to CEO Chris Todd. He succeeds Josh Warren, who has served as CFO since 2023.

With approximately $7 trillion in assets under management and technology supporting one-third of U.S. wealth advisors, Envestnet is positioning itself for its next phase of growth. Hofmann’s Track Record
Hofmann brings more than 25 years of financial and operational leadership across multiple industries, including SaaS, healthcare technology, data analytics, and fintech. Most recently, he served as CFO of athenahealth, where he led major operational transformation initiatives. His prior roles include serving as CFO at Omnitracs and Infogroup (now Data Axle), along with significant investment management experience at Silver Lake Sumeru and GTCR. He began his career in management consulting at McKinsey & Company.
