CQ Medical Names Michael Galbus CEO, Signaling New Era of Growth and Innovation

AVONDALE, PACQ Medical has appointed Michael Galbus as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a key leadership transition as the company positions itself for continued growth and innovation in patient care technology.

Galbus, who previously served as Chief Operating Officer, played a central role in advancing the company’s operational performance, growth strategy, and culture of collaboration. A cancer survivor himself, Galbus brings a personal connection to CQ Medical’s mission of improving care and outcomes for both patients and clinicians.

With more than three decades of leadership experience across aerospace, building products, chemicals, and medical devices, Galbus has held senior roles at Dow Inc., Saint-Gobain, Zodiac Aerospace, and ACTEGA. His cross-industry experience has shaped his results-driven, people-focused leadership style. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Purdue University.

As CEO, Galbus will focus on driving strategic growth initiatives, overseeing acquisitions and integrations, and strengthening CQ Medical’s culture of accountability and innovation.

Outgoing CEO Mike Sutter will transition to Chairman of the Board, continuing to provide strategic oversight. “Under Michael’s leadership, I believe the company is poised to accelerate growth and realize our full potential to innovate and deliver the best outcomes for patients,” Sutter said.

Based in the greater Philadelphia area, Galbus lives with his wife, Crystal, and their three children. Known for his resilience and hands-on leadership, he describes his approach to work and life alike as built on “commitment, collaboration, and celebrating milestones together.”
