Envestnet Pulls Back the Curtain on WealthTech’s Power Players

Envestnet

BERWYN, PAEnvestnet has launched Inside WealthTech, a new blog and video series designed to give financial advisors and industry executives a front-row seat to the conversations shaping the next era of wealth management.

The series features onsite interviews with founders, executives, and investment leaders who are driving change across the WealthTech ecosystem, from alternative investments and artificial intelligence to behavioral finance and retirement planning. The goal is to translate fast-moving innovation into practical insight for firms competing to meet rising client expectations.

The first six episodes, recorded at the Future Proof Festival in Huntington Beach, California in September 2025, are now available to stream through Envestnet’s Financial Technology Blog. Additional interviews were captured at Schwab IMPACT 2025 in Denver, extending the series into one of the industry’s most influential annual gatherings.

Early episodes feature a wide range of voices across the wealth management landscape. They include Yasmine Kacha of Pontera, who focuses on helping advisors manage clients’ held-away retirement assets; Marla Sofer of Knomee, whose platform applies behavioral finance to improve client discovery and personalization; and Judah Schulman of CAIS, which is expanding advisor access to alternative investments. The lineup also includes Mike Doniger of iCapital, Patrick Krulik of IMA Advisory Services, and Ian Karnell of VastAdvisor.ai, each offering a different view on how technology and strategy are reshaping advice.

Upcoming episodes will bring in additional growth and partnership leaders, including Dustin Courts of Brighton Jones, Brooke Deese of Practifi, and Tyler Resh of SteelPeak Wealth, continuing the focus on how advisory firms scale, modernize, and differentiate themselves.

“Inside WealthTech is about connecting the dots between innovation and impact and how the industry is evolving,” said Blake Wood, head of platform strategy at Envestnet. He said the series is built to cut through the noise of constant product launches and market shifts by highlighting how real firms are turning new tools and trends into business opportunities.

For Envestnet, the launch is also a strategic move. As a platform provider deeply embedded in how advisors run their practices, the company is positioning itself not just as a technology vendor, but as a convener of the ideas and people defining the future of financial advice. In an industry being rapidly reshaped by AI, alternative assets, and rising client demands, Inside WealthTech aims to become a running narrative of who is winning, how they are doing it, and what comes next.
